Benjamin Mitchell

Benjamin Mitchell was born on a Canadian military base in occupied  Germany during the Cold War. At the age of four, he and his family  moved to rural Nova Scotia, Canada, where they remained for the rest  of his formative years. He is currently completing his PhD in Science  and Technology Studies at York University, where he studies the  thought of the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche in the context  of nineteenth century science. He also works on the relationship  between science and the occult in England and Germany.
