Frederick Peters

I am a PhD candidate, ABD, working in the fields of Urban Political Ecology, Political Economy and what I am calling Recent Environmental History. My current thesis work centres on urban ecological politics in the South Baltic region. I am researching changing strategies in the financing of water infrastructure rebuilding in the Baltic region since the fall of communism to ask about social and environmental outcomes over the past 2 decades.

My research interests include International Financial Institutions, International Political Economy, European Union and Environmental Governance, the Post-Communist Transition, Infrastructure Finance, Environmental Politics, Environmental Monitoring and Military Surveillance Technology.
