The Centre works together with a number of partners outside the academic sphere, in particular

– the German Embassy in Ottawa and the German Consulate General in Toronto, as well as other European consulates, cultural organizations, and the delegation of the European Commission to Canada. Ambassadors, consuls general, and other high-ranking political figures have spoken on a variety of topics, giving faculty and students insights into the workings of European governments and institutions,

– the local Goethe Institute in both Montreal and Toronto by coordinating cultural events and advertising each other’s language and cultural programs,

– the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CGCIC) in Toronto and Montreal and the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Toronto (EUCOCIT).
