Information Session: EU Study Tour – January 18th, 12:30-2:00 pm

Dr. Alexandre Berlin, Honorary Director of the European Commission and an organizer of the EU Study Tour and Internship Program, will be on hand at the EUCE York on Tuesday, January 18th from 12:30 to 2:00 pm (749 York Research Tower) ( to answer questions about this unique chance to actively engage with the European Union and other European institutions. From May 9th to May 27th, 2011, tour participants will acquaint themselves with the workings of Europe’s major political, economic and legal institutions with visits to Brussels, Antwerp, Bruges, Hachenburg, Frankfurt, Strasbourg, and Luxembourg. At the end of the tour, some participants will have the opportunity to complete an internship at a European institution relevant to their interests.

York students wishing to participate in the tour are eligible to apply for financial support from the European Union Centre of Excellence at York. For details on this, please contact the Centre’s Coordinator, John Paul Kleiner, at jkleiner@yorku.ca
